This will self-destruct, can't let Mrs see: a random long weekend beach trip was, in fact, a wonderful idea. Despite my grumpiness re planning it, packing for it, and driving to it.

Made it through the prelims (breakfast, beach, lunch); now we'll see if I'm up to snuff in the competitive rounds (standing in the pool and catching a child shouting "LOOK-AT-THIS" every 5 sec for the next 4 hrs). Toughest tasks, strongest soldiers etc etc
