the trophy list was a list of objectives for those who wanted more and the unlock for 8 trophies is definitely helpful, if a little bit too direct on some of these hints

kind of silly to see the two new boss relics though
they really had to pull a night-of-the-fathom again
i wonder if they're aiming to give players more quick slotable relics rather then give players any control over the relic randomization

took me way too much wandering around to get the last wish of act2 to trigger, and i won't get to find out what detail i was missing until i finish the first unspoiled playthru

i do think i missed out a bit on hk charm builds because they made everything more expensive over time
i have been enjoying the (tools) more in silksong
though it feels like some red tools are the standouts / the most useful
its nice to equip 9 "charms"

finished my speedrun goals on hk and saw the various endings
i'll definitely return to try out some more of hk steel soul, sad that it doesn't have too much extra content / context like i've heard rumors about silksong
but i did move onto silksong

first few hours: felt oppressively linear, felt like obvious dead ends
probably died twice to soul master (had zero geo)
dropped it for several years
the road to 25 charms and all the buyable notches:

and its still apparent from both times ive dropped off of hk and said, "maybe i'll just wait for skong, seems like a sequel might address my biggest critiques"
