Hey friends! Are you someone who love audio editing and wants more experience and/or building up your portfolio?

We are looking for 2 more folks to join our team! Sadly, I'm not in a place to offer payment right now. So, this is purely a volunteer role.
Hey everyone!! We are opening up applications for 2 more editors to join our production team.

These folks would be responsible for editing our episodes for the rest of Season 4, starting with the December APs!

Please share this application, this is an important postion to our podcast. Thanks you!
The QueerXP: Editor App - Season 4
The QueerXP is looking for 1-2 editors to help us with the remainder of the season! Please note: These would be volunteer positions. While we have a Patreon, the money we bring in from that does not...

Messing around with Procreate, happy with the result. Some spooky Orlok sketching.
Friday the 13th (1980)

I HAD to watch the original, especially since it's a classic.

For something so tame compared to today's horror, I loved it. It was a simple premise that was executed well. I also knew nothing about the twist.

Great watch, and can't wait to see the others.

Legendary Final Fantasy Composer Nobuo Uematsu says he’s never used generative AI, and never will.

"I think it still feels more rewarding to go through the hardships of creating something myself."

Nosferatu (2024)

I’m a simp for muted colors, so the style was up my alley.

A traditional vampire film and remake that feels intimately unsettling. However, it felt a little slow in places, and felt more like a chance to play in the environment than tell the story since it’s well known.
The Lighthouse (2019)

Another one on my list strictly for atmosphere and aesthetic.

I appreciated how simple the story was. It made it easy to see where things were headed, which gave little details a place to shine.

Queer monster fuckers of the ocean variety (like myself) had a good time.
Trick β€˜r Treat (2007)

I love a good single storyline with branching perspectives, especially when each storyline is its own rollercoaster.

Definitely a classically-styled horror movie that’s definitely dated in terms of subject.

I personally think the evil is justified in this one.
The Cabin in the Woods (2011)

Had this on my watch list, and didn’t know what to expect.

It felt more like a slasher sci-fi thriller, which is wild to me. Also INCREDIBLY self-aware at times, which was refreshing.

Very fun to see this take on a β€˜Young People in a Creepy Cabin’ story.
Men (2022)

I don’t know why I originally pressed play. I also don’t know why I kept watching.

The intrigue had me for the first half as I started noticing what things were off about the town.

Then… the second half happened.

Then… it ended.

All I can say is β€œWhat in the fuck…?”
Sinners (2025)

Not a film about vampires, but a film WITH vampires. There’s a huge focus on the importance of music, particularly in the history of Black America.

This film also includes a breathtaking moment of timelessness brought together by music, culture, and community.

Highly recommend!
It’s taken me years to fully enjoy horror (mainly psychological), but I decided to take the plunge and watch a wider variety of horror and thriller this season.

So I’m making a thread of what I watched, and if I’d recommend it!

SPOILER FREE!

Come get your heebies jeebied! 🧡
@goeticcoquetries.bsky.social and I were gushing about them, so I’d totally be down to chat! πŸ’œ
Oh no! These are so cute 😭 Any chance you'll have them up online @jazzyplz.com?
Did any of you play Mushroom Revolution as a kid?
I just found a few sites that still had it, and I've been obsessed 😭
Had a wonderful conversation with some beautiful souls today at the Treasures of the Unseelie event in Eugene, OR today.

The facets of spiritualism and practice are many, and sharing experiences with other pagans reminds me of how much inner and external magic there is in the world πŸ’œβœ¨
Oh no!! Not at work!! πŸ˜‚

I love the aesthetic and artistry of BJD, but have never committed to one myself. Some day, though. Some day!

He’s absolutely stunning and I love him πŸ¦‡πŸ’œπŸ–€
Okay wait, this is fantastic πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ

24 hours from now!

Not to get too sappy on main, but I would be so thrilled if as many of yall could show up as possible.

This has been something I've had planned in the works all year (but other friends of mine kept doing their own subathons so I postponed it so as not to be at the same time πŸ˜…)
BIG NEWS だ!

I'm doing a subathon starting Sept 14th! I've got a ton of events planned and just as many guests to join in on them!

For my #TTRPG friends:

I’ve gotten really into including puzzles in my games. As a GM, do you use resources for your puzzles or do they come right from your noggin?

I’m trying to expand on the kinds of puzzles I include!
I feel like it’s some kind of cosmic haha that whenever I’m ready to sit down and take a breather, I get a business email.
