I totally get that. 💜 And there are parts of it that I can never stop thinking about. But my brain can’t help comparing it to Altman’s Short Cuts in terms of character development (mostly) and I know that’s not fair or right but I think that’s why I don’t ever fully get on board with it

Ooh nice! I don’t know the Blue Lake project, but the Borges and Riley are big favorites. Glad you’re enjoying all of those!

Heading east through Hollywood, there are always points in which the Harvest Moon appears to be gigantic. It’s one of my favorite things. People on walks have stopped to photograph it. I’ve pulled my car over to sit for a while and gaze upon it. So beautiful. 🌕

A few years after we graduated I was randomly window shopping at a music store in Manhattan and recognized him. He worked there. We caught up for a few minutes and he invited me to come hear him play, which was right at the beginning of that part of his life, I think. Funny, in a city of millions.

Why am I just seeing this? Agh. I love the sound of all of that music.

I really want to see it again too! I revisited Magnolia the other night, which I’ve done twice now since release. I love its cinematics, but I just do not like it for so many other reasons. Cannot stand JM’s performance, for example. Lol, so sorry to say that. But generally I adore PTA’s films.

I was friends with Neel Murgai in college. We were in the same major. Funny where life takes us!
