One thing I'll say about DC not only canceling Red Hood, but recalling the first issue and refunding stores for buying it, is that you can still get Neil Gaiman's work through them. They still work with Otto Schmidt. Eddie Berganza worked there for years AFTER the formation of a policy that no women

I grew up hating Chrono Trigger because of one of those childhood grievances that got attached to something else. Like, I think it began as one of those things where I had Secret of Mana and the other kid had Chrono Trigger and we got into an argument about which was better but it resulted in me getting punched in the face and I think my pogs got stolen. Then I go on the Internet and you know how fandom is, you criticize one or two things about the game and everyone jumps on you, it felt like being assaulted and having my pogs stolen again. Two bad experiences around voicing a not-even-that-negative opinion about Chrono Trigger, for the next twenty years my brain just associated that game with angry shitty experiences.
At PAX West a few years ago my (now ex) partner and I lost in a game show thing because I failed to properly identify a music piece from Chrono Trigger, and none of this would have happened if I just played and enjoyed the game like the demographic datum that I am.
