@brandeisuniversity.bsky.social took this pdf down from their website. I don’t know why exactly, but here it is since you can’t get it there any longer:

Should the quilted flag be upside down? I haven’t adhered the letters yet, I could turn it around to indicate that my country is in distress but the letters do fit nicely this way

Looking at men's shirts in the thrift store yesterday. A nearby teen boy (13?) was loudly begging his mom to buy him dress shoes. He asks my opinion, saying "my mom says they'll make me look gay." I look him in the eye and say, "What's wrong with looking gay?" Mom quickly says "nothing."

I'm looking at protest quilts and am so impressed with this one ♥️
The penguin is quilted and ready to protest! It’s a bit crooked, but I have had vertigo off and on all week, so I’m okay with crooked.

Peaceful vibes on May Day. (I'm thinking about embroidering a series of these.)

I spent the last few days hustling to get "enough" done on a project to take credible photos & enter it in a big art show. I hit the submit button just now. And then I read the juror's bio and thought "I ain't got a prayer of getting in." Maybe I'll stop doing this to myself eventually. 🫤 #quiltsky

I don’t think I’m going to fit 100 of them in the quilt after all. I’ll be lucky to get 50 in there. #ragequilting #improvquilting

I'm realizing that I probably need to rip out 2 days of embroidery on my current piece. Ugh. But I'm proud of myself for considering what's best for the piece instead of ignoring the problem.

I’m very pleased to announce a new 3hour zoom class with @Craftymonkies happening Saturday 21 June, mark your diaries now!

I’ll be showing you a creative approach to the usual technique of appliqué, using fabric scraps to construct bold shapes and motifs.
