The govt is now threatening to build a 50km underground tunnel beneath our largest east/west highway ( even tho engineers say not realistic ) An inquiry might lead to WHY that is not realistic nor feasible.

Agreed. But in fairness to taxpayers, a review, report, inquiry or any light shone on this is necessary . This govt is notorious for lack of transperancy. For example, they ran into serious problems at one station due to "underground stream". Toronto has nothing but underground streams!!!
