just this little guy, you know? unapologetic lalafell apologist. amateur sewist. would-be costume designer & clothier. occasional 3d modeler. father of ferrets.

not to look past the cool boot patterning…. but is that a bernadette banner video on in the background?
a) don’t play coy for camera you know it’s a folder
b) this was an iconoclastic and enlightened take there is no shame in it
i love proper gold work, and i think it’s a solid interpretation and a good suggestion

my neurosis is that none of these flexible-fantasy-filigree have any texture implying they’re embroidery OR gold work, so my brain is like “sure you can do gold work….. if you’ve given up on accuracy”
hey what do you think final fantasy meant when it put this on a skirt

completely solid symbol made out of... what, metal? cuz ain't no embroidery gonna look like that
when i put away my furby for good in a sad little box, he said, “oooooh…. it dark!” and i felt for him something i will never feel for any shit-fuck-ass LLM plagiarism machibe
we’re millennials. embrace tradition and proudly label our jokes as “le epic lulz”
polite note attached to a window brick

i was working on a healthcare account awhile ago and everytime my team would request personification access to their dashboard they would flatly refuse because of the massive amount of patient PII they were privy to.

every time their team and my team got into it i was like
and what of their uppies?
don’t get me wrong i don’t think there’s anything wrong with embrilliance. i’m just already familiar with inkscape and i like free stuff. from a learning perspective, you’re probably better off with embrilliance/hatch & palette because they’re way more popular thank ink/stitch
but sometimes it’s fun to cause immense psychic damage to oneself for no reason!

(it’s not)
thank you! i don’t often embroider but when i do i use ink/stitch for inkscape. it works for basically everything i wanna do, supports multihooping, and is totally free (unlike certain software. looking at you, embrilliance)
that is a smart thing to do… but also have you considered that sometimes it’s fun to break expensive machines? even more fun if you do it while on a horrendously tight deadline!
in the case of what we’re doing (3d prints) the final suits are rarely if ever more than 5 lbs, if even that. give or take a pound for how thick the prints are and what material they were printed in (solid resin vs PLA plastic with 10% infill)
how much of a stretch do you need? like only the tiniest bit? (like, 4%) or a true Stretchy Ass Fabric™?

i too am a mood shopper and i've recently been working with a cotton sateen with 4% elastene that is delicious
no! your babies!!!

you are unfortunately right that is 100% a possibility. ours are marshall ferrets too and so far as i can tell the truth of the matter is an early death is a possible (bordering likely) roll of the dice.
the good news is ferrets live closer to 6 - 8 years (at least here in America). still painfully short but luckily not 3-4 years short.
