Wee sneak peak of another folding comic I'm working on.

I learned so much from making The Tower, and I have ideas for a few more as well. It's fun to make comics that are meant to be displayed as well as read!

First speckled wood buttefly I've ever seen in my garden! These handsome brown butterflies have been slowly spreading up the East Coast of Scotland.

Last minute but I'll be there today.

'How to Watch Wildlife' is here!

My new comic is a fun, fact-filled comic about to how to learn more about nature in the UK. The guide is organised in handy sections such as how to watch wildlife, how to identify and record what you see and more!

Available from my online shop - link in my bio!

Going to be in Edinburgh this summer? The French Institute is holding a free-to-attend comic festival on July 5-6, in partnership with excellent local shop La Belle Adventure, celebrating French & Scottish comics!

Writing the bird page for 'How to Watch Wildlife' today.

They also don't provide any info about where things are to punters. You get your wrist band and not even a leaflet showing venues/events etc. Constantly having to look online to see where things were, and what was on when. Not every visitor is a Dundee Uni student or knows thr Uni well.

I know right? Next on the list to teach them is the ridiculous 'little-bit-of-bread-and-no-CHEESE' of the yellowhammer. Heard them start singing this just last week. Love spring!
juliecampbelldraws.bsky.social
I have forced everyone around me to learn it and test them constantly. 'What's that bird?', '*sigh*...ummm..chiff chaff?' 'Correct, you have passed the test, now look forward to being aware of that bird your whole life'. Yay!
juliecampbelldraws.bsky.social
You can hear that squeaky bike wheel 'chiff chaff' all around right now! Have you heard one?

Chiffchaffs are back 💚 Their unmistakeable chiff-chaffing tune is a sure sign that spring has sprung!
These little warblers are olive-brown in colour and can be seen flitting through trees and shrubs.
