Looking through microscopes is part of my job. These "critters" could very well be possible to see, though this is just a #memory or #fantasy. #Watercolor on paper. #abstractart #Jurzi

It's 3rd of #Advent today... so, lo and behold, a little Advent #star from me. Based on an original painting I made, modified with my finger on my phone.

Let's continue with the #meadow theme. #alcoholink on #yupo. I remember times as a kid picking flowers for my mom with grasshoppers and bees and butterflies every step you take. (Has been turned into an ariculture monoculture for feed a few thousand pigs in the meantime.) #Jurzi #art #abstract

A little while ago I discovered alcohol #ink on #yupo. I am perfectionist ... the pigments in alcohol spread out on the surface of the Yupo... loss of control. Love it. Allows to play. #dream and #fantasy underwater scapes. #abstractart #Jurzi #art

One of my personal favorites. #Watercolor on paper. #Biomorphic shapes. This was so much fun to paint. Now part of a private art collection. #Jurzi #abstractart

I always loved comics. They were one of the few things I sometimes "wasted" money on as a teenager. Back then I dreamed that I could create a "Lord of the Rings" comic strip (but of course the movie makers outdid me in every way). So I occasionally settle on creating abstract comics... just for fun

I love to #draw #biolomorphic #organic shapes, combining them into #abstract compositions. This #drawing I made with #pencils and colored pencils. I love gentle color gradients and shading. #absractart #Jurzi

Mixed media piece on paper. Drawing with colored pencils, sepia, and colored inks. One of those few pieces that will never be fir sale.

Drawing with colored pencils on paper. The process of shading surely has a quality of meditation for me. My focus goes away from the problems of the world, my mood changes, my emotions become balanced.

For the ecology interested among us. A fantasy comparison between creatures on land and in water.... straight out of my brain onto paper with watercolor and ink.

Biomorphic or geometric? What do you like better?
