It's #PortfolioDay once more and alas I have no full portfolio to share, as I am busy making new things and falling foul of perfectionism, lol. But for now, I hope you enjoy this sample of environment concepts :)
Had quite the experience trying to get to London today. Barely 20 mins into the journey, the train is cancelled at Derby and we’re all told to get a train to Birmingham and then connect to London that way. (Sadly there was a fatality on the line ahead of us.)

Atleast nobody will have to question if my works are ai or not so enjoy these practical effect wings I made after 7 years of building different animatronic wings!

If the amount paid was high enough, I would claw back the 30+ hours I spend each week at a mind-numbing job and do lots of wonderful things. Without the stress and pressure of covering the basics in life.
Right now, it would mean I could spend more time with my ill dad.

I got the matte PLA to work :D This printed really well with hardly any supports and they snapped off so clean! I might try printing in a slightly different orientation to get a better finish on the topline of the head and nose, but otherwise I am delighted :D #NomadSculpt #BambuLab #3DPrint

Slow realisation why it has been hard to juggle all my ‘stuff’ when I don’t actually have a lot of stuff.
When I lived alone, I had all my own space. Enough space for my stuff to have its proper place.
Moving back home meant squeezing a whole life into a single room. Nothing is allowed to breathe

And the finished dog :3 Its lovely to just chip away at sculpts, tweaking and improving in increments and then seeing it come together.
This ended up *less* stylised than I actually intended, because I got swept up in details instead of shapes. But I learned a lot for the next sculpt. #NomadSculpt

Not a fan of the new Affinity branding 😒 I haven’t looked into the new (supposedly free) version yet but I just hope the previous version is supported a little longer. I paid for it.

If you happen to be in London, I recommend the Ursula K Le Guin exhibition over at the Architecture Association School of Architecture (I don’t think they are on bsky yet). Its a fab little exhibition about the maps of the worlds Le Guin created.
The bookshop is also a gem ❤️ #ArtSky

My lil indulgent trip to London has not gone according to plan entirely. I caught a nasty cold at the office, so I have been trying to do what I can to keep going.
