FYI just discovered that the Golden Gate National Park Conservancy sells historical reproductions of the chambray button-down issued to Alcatraz prisoners, so obvs got one for kid for xmas (and an enameled steel Golden Gate tape dispenser for myself). Support your national parks!

Disappointed that The Guardian put out a shopping list of "Best Black Friday Deals" and double-disappointed that over half are from union-busting employee-abusing shitshow Amazon. (List also includes problematic non-faves like HomeDepot and LuluLemon.) Boooooo, Guardian. Enjoy those affiliate $s.

Apparently the #cat is thrilled with the temporary absence of our coffee table while we do some work in the LR. Sometimes we walk in and he's sitting right in the center, staring at the wall? Do circular ring-pattern textiles that clash violently with one's fur somehow channel Cosmic Cat Energy?

I have regrets (not really, it was def overdue, and no time like the present since we're about to ditch the fuggo track lights for recessed and also paint the cabinets) but this is a COLOSSAL pain in the ass. Next time I do this : SHOWER CAP.
