I think I've come to terms with the fact that I won't live to see Communism in my lifetime. This will take centuries of cultural and social change.

But I do think we can achieve socialism in my lifetime. Everyone having the right to what they need.

Slow growing tree is often the strongest.

To me, the ones that spout that rhetoric are just a coat of paint away. It's always been about the social presence and optics, never about the political policy and environmental conditions surrounding them. They do it to get some kind of high of these interactions. It's a social club to them.

It's also why so many can easily flip. And they'll side with the nazis because "the left was being mean and made me feel bad." And, the nazis will accept them and stoke their reactionary feelings. Saying that they shouldn't have to reflect on their selves. That it isn't their fault they feel bad.

It's because for them it's like a sports team. At the end of the day, everyone goes home, and nothing really changes. The leftists probably make them do some inner reflection, and they don't like what they seen so they prefer the nazi where everything can stay surface level.

Crazy how this only goes one way.

The US government has a track record of weaponizing the law. We even just watched Biden do it to Trump.

At this point, nobody should be surprised by abuse of power from any admin since they all work for the same oligarchs.

#Revolution is the only way out of this.

It is literally the most American thing. They've been doing it for most of our history.

Hell, during the Russian Revolution, they were jailing people just for sympathizing with people who didn't want to live under a Tsar.

Our history is built on imprisoning or killing or political enemies.

I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Mahmoud. Mahmoud was a computer engineer doing web development before this. He’s lost his job and home (and many coworkers) and is in a tent with his family including his children Zeina, 6 and Zane, 2. His wife Malak is 7 months pregnant.

After dealing with sciatic pain caused by my stupid ass 84hr a week job, I finally decided to start running again for my mental health.

And oh my god, when you get back,the singing in my head quiets back down, and the writing juices start FLOWIN.

I forgot much of my revolutionary optimism and will for the downfall of the capitalist system came from just being able to get out there for a little bit and clear my head.

Being out in the dark under the full moon, music or no music. Able to finally think on the predicament we are in without the emotions evoked by the day...

So much to write and so little space. Also think I'm gonna do my posts in this format from now on.

They are manufacturing consent with the public for regime change in Venezuela.
The US has national interests there. When you see "US-backed" anything, you should be skeptical.

*The US does NOT EVER do anything in the interest of the people*

This is why you see the words *national interest, special interest, national security interests* used so frequently.

Same with the word democracy. Democracy for who? Not the common people, but for the rich to go and plunder the resources of that country. Of which it is WELL KNOWN to possess several trillion dollars worth of oil.

It is done for the money. And boy howdy, there's lots to be made in Venezuela.

They love taking resources, wealth, etc, from the people and giving it to billionaires. Privatization is exactly the sort of thing that led to the situation here in the US.

The international bourgeoisie absolutely LOVES giving money, recognition, and natural resources to billionaires.

Her biggest policy, privatising Venezuela's Oil Reserves, the largest in the world, worth nearly $100tn.
