It's interesting that Gemini CLI defaults to use the WebFetch tool for URLs instead of the GitHub MCP. That's the kind of thing I sort of expect the agent to figure out for me?

I haven't used Windows for development in a minute (ok, decade). So far I'm surprised that most of the tools I want to use are available! Outside of the new terminal app, winget and oh-my-posh, are there other Windows-specific tools I should be looking into?

I'm pretty surprised at the limited number of options in github.com/mcp. As far as I can tell, there's no real open public registry that's official?

Linkinator, now with proper build provenance on npm! Turns out github.com/googleapis/r... matches really well for this workflow with OIDC, where semantic-release kind of fell down.

This is really spectacular. The OIDC workflows for actions and GCP were game changing for us, and I have no doubt this will protect a lot of folks.
The npm team has shipped OIDC publishing from GitHub and GitLab! Has anybody tried it yet? Finally no more npm token leaks!
