Discovering errors in major third-party policy reports likely generated by #AI is serious enough that one party in Newfoundland and Labrador is calling for regulations.

In October I noticed NL's Commissioner for Legislative Standards had not published annual reports for 2023 and 2024.

Her reason?

"There wasn’t a whole lot to report and it was, you know—it’s a skimpy report. There was nothing earth shattering in there."

When Canada delivers its budget Tuesday, will it "get out of the way" on the proposed Ring of Fire environmental assessment, as Ontario Premier Doug Ford requested last week?

Canada's not telling.

I've been requesting since Oct. 29, daily contact with the Privy Council office, but still no answer.
Will Canada abandon environmental assessment in the Ring of Fire?

Doug Ford wants Ottawa to ignore First Nations’ warnings that drinking water, treaty rights, and the land itself are on the line.
