We need videos of Florence stalking through the countryside with her banshee girl chorus for every song on Everybody Scream.

Shout out to E.T. for taping a few everyday devices together and using that shit to call a Space Uber and get his ass back home and whatnot.

Pretty sure he’s actually rebuilding Barad-Dur.

Inside of you are two wolves, because it’s Antarctica, 1982 and you’re an alien thing and you’re trying to assimilate the whole pack.

All he has to do is say he will apologize, in person, one on one, and he has the opportunity to do the funniest thing.

There should be a way in Map apps to choose to avoid roundabouts. I would drive twenty minutes out of my way to not have to go through that hell.

Used to make this post each year at the old place so I’ll start the tradition here anew: Hey Dream Cruise, go fuck yourself.

Here’s to the demon who invented slathering a layer of greasy sunscreen into matted body hair to seal in the heat before you head out into the blazing sun it’s really a great new level of hell thanks.

Note to designers: whenever you’re creating design options for a client, make sure you add a third, boring, unimaginative choice, and make sure you’re prepared to endlessly grind that one down to an even more boring final version, because that’s the one the client will choose.

I can’t believe after nearly 250 years we’re still dealing with this king bullshit. (And 80 years for the fascist nonsense.)

In 1966 Brian Wilson conceived of recording small ‘modular’ snippets of songs in various tempos & instrumentation, piecing it together thru a laborious hand-editing process. The Beach Boys gave up. In 2004 digital software finally caught up with him and he released Smile. RIP to a True Genius.

Watching Star Trek in stardate order means watching 2 seasons of Discovery & Strange New Worlds before TOS & the movies. So in Voyage Home when Sarek admits he was wrong for opposing Spock’s enlistment in Starfleet you really feel the weight of his remorse. Retcons sometimes work wonderfully.

Thunderbolts was a delightful surprise. Went in thinking it was just going to be Marvel’s Suicide Squad (but, you know, competently executed) but it was actually a very well done exploration of ptsd and depression AND also a fun Yelena and Bucky hang out movie. Great performances all around. See it.

Yeah thanks HBOMax but I think I’m done waiting two years to watch 6-8 episodes of horrible characters doing horrible things to each other.

I gotta say, the two-part final episode of fan series Star Trek Continues so perfectly caps the 5 year voyage and sets up the Motion Picture that to me its canon.

Man Wheel of Time has some of the most insane visuals on tv right now. Every episode might as well be The Red Wedding with the amount of crazy plot going down. A fearless adaptation of difficult material. Don’t sleep on this show. #renewWOT #wheeloftime

Just remembered why I stopped watching Walking Dead after Glen died.

Yellowjackets but it’s the cast of Daria. Is this a thing?

Well we finished Star Trek TAS and we’ve reached the Star Trek: New Voyages fan episodes era of our chronological-by-stardate rewatch.

At this point, I’m kinda bummed that I’ve never created any art good enough to be stolen by AI.

Slavery was never abolished in the USA it was just rebranded as "prison"
A sheriff in Mississippi, the highest paid and most powerful public figure in his county, staffed his mother’s commercial chicken farm with inmates from the local jail and used taxpayer-purchased equipment to improve it, an investigation by The New York Times and Mississippi Today found.
