As a resident of the northern burbs, I would have liked to have seen some of the communities named.
Most of the footage you see from ICE observers in Minnesota comes from the core cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. I talked to observers in the northern suburbs, who say they're taking on the same mission in very different conditions. (1)

Only one politican showed up at our modest caucus in Blaine, state Rep. Matt Norris. He's worked hard to carve out a little blue in a purple district. Blaine city councilmember Chris Ford is running for the state Senate seat.

Eleven participants at our precinct caucus tonight. We only had 3 last time, so a step in the right direction. Several first timers. About half of the neighbors where foreign-born. Teachers, retirees, engineers, a lawyer, etc.
