While in the 1st Armored Division, we were told quite frankly that we would likely die on the 1st day of a war, either by a cruise missile strike or by a commando raid. Our HQ would be a high priority target, as would theirs. 😳

I was just reminded that before Give to the Max Day was created, the Cities Sampler release was the Twin Cities big charities give. Sales generated $13 million for MN non-profits and charities, which was real money back in the day.
