- Became the second player ever to reach base in each of 9 PA. The first was Max Carey on 7/7/1922 (5 singles, 1 double, 3 walks).

That last play of the first half is EXACTLY why the Chiefs win football games. Every player was ready for the worst case scenario and executed.

I’ll be rooting for Freddy in San Diego, gonna miss him! But you can’t be mad at the return.
I think Maile remains backup catcher throughout this season, but this clears the way for Jensen/Mitchell moving forward.
