Not going to panic just yet. Perhaps wrong choice of words from Wray. Or if Wray spoke correctly and we don’t hire a manager until Christmas; then #AllForCITY may be looking beyond the start of free agency, the super draft and re-entry processes.
Juxtapose these quotes from #AllForCITY Sporting Director Corey Wray from tonight with those of President/GM Diego Gigliani from November 14th. Does it sound like a front office in sync? Or is it too early to tell? Too early to raise concerns ahead of the preseason?

Wray said within the “next few weeks” when asked about the appointment of a head coach by #AllForCITY. President/GM Diego Gigliani previously said the timeline would be similar to that of Mellberg (early December). Hoping the decision is made sooner rather than later.

John Hackworth was one of #AllForCITY’s early hires. He served as the Director of Coaching, guided CITY2 through their first season, was an assistant coach for the first team and held multiple interim roles at various levels for the club

Dates for the 2026 US Open Cup have been released. MLS Clubs will enter in the round of 32. Eight will be seeded as home teams and eight will be away based on the qualification criteria. The format includes just one match day during the World Cup break (May 19/20)

A format change for the #USOC in 2026 is reportedly coming based on a mandate from US Soccer. 48 total pro clubs will participate broken down as follows:
