Trump: "Schumer is even losing to AOC plus 3. What happened to the plus 3? Are they still around? I met the president of Somalia and I said, 'I have somebody I'd like to give back to you.' He said, 'No thanks. We don't want her.'"

Fifteen presidents have invoked the Insurrection Act.

Trump claims one president used it 28 times in the course of a single presidency.

The Insurrection Act has been used a total of 30 times over the course of its 217-year history.
Trump: "I'm allowed as you know as president, like 50% of the presidents have used the Insurrection Act. Everybody agrees you're allowed to use that and there is no more court cases, there is no more anything. We're trying to do it in a nicer manner, but we can always use the Insurrection Act."

The Golden Age of American Mediocrity, aka the Golden Age of American Cringe, must be chronicled
We've been keeping track of all of the atrocities Trump has committed since he took office in January. To be clear, this is not humor or satire, but maybe sometime in the future, our relatives will see this, shake their heads, and think, "What a hilarious shitshow of a timeline."

Q: In 2018, Trump imposed 25% tariffs on steel and aluminum. Two years later, there were 1,000 more steel workers and 75,000 fewer manufacturing workers in the sectors dependent on steel

PETER NAVARRO: I dispute those facts

Q: That's a Ball State study

Egypt has extremely strict gun control laws. Civilians are only permitted to own handguns -- no rifles or shotguns -- and only if they can prove they need the weapon for a specific purpose. Background checks for licensing are extensive and include vetting of family members and psych evaluations.
Trump on Egypt: "They have very little crime. Because they don't play games. That's why. Like we do in the United States with governors that have no idea what they're doing."

For years, Missouri’s Kansas City Chiefs have been the NFL team to beat.

But academics at the University of Texas El Paso and institutions across the eastern U.S. have suggested their winning record could have had a helping hand.
