Rather than some big film focused on how Kirby escapes New York or whatever stupid idea, I always thought cute animated shorts based on the style and some scenarios of the old Twitter HAL art posts would be super cute. Ppl could see the rest of the cast in fun sceneries, too.

I'm truly baffled that people are going around saying that Nintendo didn't have a big Holiday game for 2025 when Kirby Air Riders and Metroid Prime 4 were RIGHT THERE.
Like, there are other Nintendo IPs besides Mario and Zelda, people.

Same. I actually really dislike the idea of a Kirby movie and feel like sometimes people want things to have movies as some sign of the thing they like being successful rather than it making actual creative sense. Imo cute animated 2d mini shorts > Hollywood aninated cgi movie.
