I have finally completed a part of my journey, I have completed Shirase World Rule in Tetris The Grandmaster 3.
It's been an insane 4-5 year's so far with thousands of hours practicing, the only thing left being Master Mode.
All I feel is elation.

The way that people treat modern day games when it comes to cut content is so different.
Cut content in modern days really gets treated as greed while cut content from games 20 years ago gets treated like magic beans.
Jokes on you both are later sold to you as expansions/dlc.

So apparently Monster Hunter Wilds' FPS is impacted by DLC checks, they're extremely aggressive and is causing overall terrible performance.
It's not the main reason the game runs bad (RE Engine has terrible open world performance) but one piece of the pie has been found

I'm honestly glad that we did, even though as kids we barely understood the cultural references or contemporary news, we learned them through these sorts of things and broadened the cultural understanding that others would reference in the future, I wonder if kids today have anything similar
why did so many millennials read so many newspaper comics? easily 60 percent of my reading diet in elementary/middle school was collected editions of calvin and hobbes, farside, dilbert, peanuts, doonesbury (!), foxtrot (?!?) and i know im not alone. historically unique phenomenon
rather than talk about Scott Adams I want to talk about something weirder (me). Who else was really into Dilbert when you were 12. Who else was like, boy, I can't wait to work a cubicle job

Be realistic, demonizing chasing trends can be self destructive for growth. The current financial climate across the world is terrible, if you have to draw Sonic Yaoi to keep a roof over your head there is no shame in that.
Do not draw yourself into poverty. The OCs can always come later.
