there’s been enough sudden, unexpected deaths in our community lately that its getting harder and harder to not think about it ourselves. been thinking all day about what kind of tangible mark on the world we’d have left behind if there just wasn’t a ‘tomorrow’ for us.

i have a good amount of art i probably should post soon, been sitting on a fair few commisions and just... sorta not doing anything with them 😓 been very forgetful

hm, noticed a small but rather sudden dip in our followers here and we figure its just ppl leaving the site or gettin suspended under the new rules but we do rlly hope we havent been tiring lately. theres been a lot of stressed and sadposting and dont want that to be the general idea of How We Are.

i genuinely think its awesome that my from scratch instrumental cover of The Island keeps getting removed from soundcloud for being too much like the audio fingerprint of the real song, but i really would like to share it sometime >.>

minor grumble from working on this set but im a bit annoyed at how many songs i bought on beatport 11 years ago and paid extra for the .aiff (lossless) version are in fact seemingly just 320kbps mp3 files with harmonic exciting
that cutoff at 20khz? thats where mp3 encoding cuts out
