Maybe not the best compliment I ever got ever, but one that sticks with me was one professor from the community college I attended was so blown away by my first attempts at calligraphy she urged me to join competitions regularly. Despite me only learning to grasp the fundamentals at the time.

My friend @zenophrenic.bsky.social let me use their laminator and @kannagar.bsky.social helped color in the letters on the cat when my hand got tired. We finished just in time for surprise delivery before the live show! And he was super sweet and excited about them, it made my con, honestly (4/6)
