anyway went to the bruins hife night and, quite frankly, the organisation could do better and they could also actually call it pride night but I guess at least they actually hold one AND mcavoy attends boston pride pretty much every year

anyway 2025 was a year where I chose myself, chose reciprocal relationships, chose to make positive changes, but it was also a year where someone who shaped my life died on me, and I’m not sure I’ve dealt with that.
but in less than two weeks I’ll be on my first plane of 2026, so that’ll fix me.

apparently I gotta stop saying stuff because they went into administration on christmas eve, oops.
the staff have been taken on by a salon round the corner so my appointment on saturday is solid but still probably moving.

getting a christmas card from the kids I used to nanny and being told the youngest (only girl, who I looked after from birth) has “so much attitude!” is amazing and feels like I am being both thanked and blamed for how she turned out, and I’m okay with that
