I took this course in the 80s, not sure how much you can get from a book. It was essentially guided meditation and visualizations. They later dropped the "Control," too negative. It's self-control, set your metal clock to wake yourself up, etc.

Art is a conversation. Why would I stare at a dictionary run through the washing machine when I could read a poem lovingly constructed by someone’s hands?

I had the same experience with a part-time job interview when I first started out. Needless to say I didn’t get the job. Didn’t make that mistake again. Disappointing.
