It's time for @vanhollen.senate.gov to be our new minority leader. We need a fighter and someone who gets what's happening.

It's time to rid ourselves of the corporate wing of the Democratic Party as they are clearly willing to let us die to save themselves

They're either very stupid or think we are. I suspect it's the latter. Otherwise I have to assume that every one of these Senators who betrayed us could easily lose their life savings to a scam artist.
Shaheen: "We've heard from a number of our colleagues on the other side of the aisle that they're willing to come to the table, they're willing to work with us once the govt is open to get this done. We've heard the same thing from the White House. So now we'll see if they're really gonna work w/us"

Is the shutdown over? Not yet.
Last night's vote was only step 1 of 5.
There’s still another 60-vote hurdle, amendments, and then the House. Nothing has reopened. Pressure matters right now, especially on:
@kaine.senate.gov
@rosen.senate.gov
@shaheen.senate.gov
@hassan.senate.gov

Republicans were overwhelmingly getting blamed for the shutdown.
There was no reason for the Democrats to cave to Trump on healthcare, except for the fact that they are wholly owned and operated by the health insurance lobby.

I see regular, unarmed Americans taking on ICE to protect one another, getting beaten up, pepper sprayed, shot with rubber bullets, and the f'ng Senate Dems can't even hold out to protect our health care. FFS.

The Orange man baby was booed relentlessly at an NFL game by both sides and some weak ass Dem senators are caving on health care. Dems hold all the cards right now, but yeah, I can see how you might think it was time to cave.

I guess @schumer.senate.gov likes losing. That's his favorite. He has betrayed the American people, yet again. Thanks for nothing, Chuck. Literally, you got nothing.

NEW: It appears Senate Dems have enough votes for cloture with Jacky Rosen flipping to a yes vote. Rand Paul voted no. Kaine, Rosen, Fetterman, Shaheen, Hassen, King, Durbin, Cortez-Masto are the dems yes votes.

Schumer's No vote is all for show. Nothing else. He's happy with the Dems voting for the CR. He wants the CR to pass. He's a horrible human being.
The Dem leadership is all going to vote no because they are trying to "keep their hands clean." We told you how ridiculous this was yesterday.
