I can't remember what I was doing now, or where I am...

Only halfway through the first season and she was one of the elements that made me think "why did they even use a legacy name here". She would have worked much better with a new name to be honest, especially given that the SNW version is basically a different character pretty much.

I hope you enjoyed it!

I guess if my chair is going to tear off its pedastal andf throw seat and me onto the floor, there isn't a better time than whilst I am fighting the Borg in Star Trek Online... I really didn't think they hit us _that_ hard though.

Yata! Congratulations, well done!

Aye, that is a rough feeling. :-( Sorry to hear that. Commiserations and good thoughts being sent your way.

Ugh. Sorry to hear that. Sending good thoughts Liz's way. Hope they get her sorted out fortwith.

Meanwhile Maximus is clearly combining a combat build with doing all the quests where violence is the worst way to resolve them... Right skills, wrong quest. Then there's The Ghoul, who clearly can't remember what he bought when he leveled up and can't be bothered going to that tab to find out...

Really enjoying that three episodes into season 2 of Fallout, Lucy still hasn't put any points in Speech or Sneak, but still tries every Speech check opportunity she gets. And makes things worse every time she fails them Endearing, and very Player Character energy.

*looks over his shoulder at the history of Fallout* *affects drawl* A couple hundred years and you start to figure folks tend to see what they want to see some the time. Not always what's there.

Happy New year to you both!

Being asked by a woman on the street one morning where she could buy Trade Paperbacks, and indicating the John Menzies behind her and pointing down the road in the direction of Forbidden Planet. Then discovering that was Gail Simone on her way to the Con' I was tabling at in the Small Press bit.
Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie

It has some distinct Grant/Lee vibes going for it. The whole worn and somewhat sandblasted look to the paintscheme really works with that.

Priestess of the Nameless Ones at the Tombs of Atuan... Something of a career change it must be said...
Intermediary from Adrian Tchaikovsky's Shards of Earth series. Who doesn't want crippling psychic trauma from regularly diving into not-the Warp?

I feel like they set some kind of benchmark there for sheer brass neck, yeah.

Past the halfway mark of Strange New Worlds and I can definitely say it is in no danger of toppling Prodigy from my slot of "favourite Star Trek spin-off post Deep Space Nine". That's Prodigy held off all challengers so far in terms of what I've seen. Those crazy kids, Winner and still Champion.

Well, ok Strange New Worlds. There is a certain audacity in making your sixth episode just a "Those Who Walk Away from Omelas" remix I'll give you that. I'm not sure I'd have the confidence to borrow quite so transparently from Le Guin. But, you do you.

I'd say that this opens them to the risk of rampancy... but I think they may already be there...
