Including AI generated work in the festival insults authors like me. But I also want to add that I think all the other authors participating in the festival do not use AI - no one who seriously cares about their craft would.

I was excited I could promote my book published by a small Canadian Press, especially since there are not a lot of publicity opportunities. I didn’t notice this online AI presentation until it was brought to my attention today.

Yes thank you! I’m aware of this situation. It is very upsetting to me and other authors who don’t use AI. Honestly, I don’t think anyone who cares about their craft would.
