I'm looking forward to this blood clot going away and no longer needing to put heat on my arm 3x/day, but in this weather, it's not the worst thing.

It is literally "Squeaky Bat" lol
February 7, 2026 at 12:43 AM
If I remember when I get home lol

I'm pretty sure there's a bat that I pick pocketed in WoW that squeaks when I click it. (Not sure if I'm imagining the squeak.)

My mom is fairly sure they lost one cat to an owl, which probably tried to take a 2nd (20+ lb cat was too much for it). Their current cats are indoor only now.

I was considering taking today off since it's one of the rare days I have nothing scheduled at work, but I wasn't expecting to be doing it for "waiting to hear about an ultrasound for a superficial blood clot" reasons. >.<

Anyway I downloaded a pdf of a book from the 1860s listing local flora species. >.> Pleased with the variety of violet options and that blueberries are native to our area.

The good part about becoming interested in micro forests in January is the earliest I can actually plant anything is probably late March or April, so I have a built in delay before I put any money into it.

We've started labeling our freezer stuff with painter's tape because the first time I went through the freezer to inventory stuff, the number of things that ended up "mystery meat" was concerning.

Same, I assume they are buying email lists that have been scraped off the websites/directories or something.

And now we get to play "Which of the 9+ smoke detectors in the house is chirping low battery?"

I did this today too, with a different position. >.<

One serving of dates is like, 4g of fiber, which is almost as much as the fiber gummies I was taking, but the flavor is way better. Probably because of the 30g of sugar, lol.

Kind of sounds like a deconstructed cabbage roll, so I'm curious

I dreamt I was working on a jigsaw puzzle that came with in-universe (to the puzzle image) battle maps for a ttrpg.

I recommend Mel Brooks's memoir if you haven't already read it. I think it came out about 4 years ago.

Yeah, I wouldn't have known it was a thing but for reading My Side of the Mountain in grade school.

I think the last place I used was checks.com, but that was 15 years ago. If no one else has suggestions, maybe your bank can give you some legit options.
January 20, 2026 at 11:18 PM
This is usually my first stop for specific titles, yeah.

Mostly at the friends of the library booksales.

Wait, is Jonah supposed to like Star Trek V ("What does God need with a starship?") or IV (the whales)?

If you have the default Samsung Android Gallery, I would check in settings for "Auto Create Stories" and "Notifications" and turn both off. If a different Android, that's the kind of thing I would look for in the default photos app.
