Hit myself in the face putting the toilet seat up to throw up (took meds for a sinus infection on an empty stomach), knocking off my glasses (luckily not into the toilet) and giving myself a black eye.
What's the most ridiculous way you ever hurt yourself? I got out of the tub, skidded in water and tripped over the toilet. Ankle sprain.

Finally went through and renamed all the PDF instruction manuals for the appliances to have the appliance name (e.g., "stove") in front of the indecipherable codes that they were all named.

So I think, oh, I'll do calligraphy names for gift bag labels! And then discover the pens I have are wide enough that it's basically 72 pt. font and I can't fit more than 4 letters on a label. Next plan, I guess.

Went through and put labels on the tops of all my spice bottles and was reminded again that I somehow have 3 bottles of whole cloves and 2 of caraway seeds. The caraway I kind of get - I was into making pumpernickel for a while - but the cloves??

I was worried the cat had peed in the office again, but then I realized he had just splashed so much water out of his dish that he's soaked his paws enough to be tracking it. >.<

I was going to make ALL the beans/grains today but realized I probably don't have enough freezer containers to do both 2 lbs. of pinto beans and 1.5 lbs. of barley at the same time in reasonable portions. Pinto beans won because their best by date is sooner.
