ELSBETH did a Totally Not Bill Belichick/Jordon Hudson episode this week with Lana Condor and this show truly just makes me so happy.

Who is the person who actually wants hold music? Who decided that repeating six lines of elevator music is better than silence?

I have been yelling about the phrase "makeup concerns," particularly when it comes to amateur scouting, for a decade. You do not know these people. You do not know their morality system, their conscience. Who is quiet vs. who's an asshole. Who just had a shitty day. www.nytimes.com/athletic/643...
Inside how MLB teams evaluate player makeup — from top prospects to big-time free agents
What exactly is a player's makeup? And how can teams reliably scout for it?

My least favorite free agency storyline every winter is "X player is from Y city, he obviously must want to go play for a team that's vaguely in the general vacinity."

Send help, I'm about to get talked into like my sixth LETTERKENNY rewatch.

What MLB's salary cap history can tell us about the upcoming CBA negotiations

I've been making my way through HOUSE OF GUINNESS and greatly enjoying it but you simply can't say "Cloonboo" as often as they do and expect me to take you seriously.

I have never been ashamed of what I don't know. In fact, I'd rather admit I don't know something than try to wing it. There's a lot I don't know! That's fine and I will never pretend otherwise. But there's just something about the people who try to make everyone else feel stupid.

I've gotten even more neurotic about comma usage and placement than usual lately and I'm sure that is not at all reflective of my precarious mental state.

I have a lot of problems with the vapid capital-J Journalism Discourse online but the actual biggest problem is that most people participating are insistent on pretending that the only journalists are the handful of famous ones they "read" via screenshots on social media.

It's been a while since a new show ended up on my Top 10 draft as quickly as TASK did. Tom Pelphrey was great but just keep rolling out Mark Ruffalo with a new ensemble and this show works forever. deadline.com/2025/11/task...

I realize I am becoming part of the problem but oh my god you people have to shut up about a stranger on the internet who got put in time out for 72 hours. The world carried on.
