Don't.
Today I watched "The Conversation" (1974), recorded ages ago off of BBC4.
A review of The Conversation (1974)
I wanted to make a joke about how you couldn't make this movie any more because no modern actor would play the saxophone in his shirt and boxers, but, actually, I'm gonna say you couldn't make this mo...

Holy smokes, I was not expecting such a fast turnaround on my @mayakern.com skirt. Ordered on Thursday, received this morning (didn't open it until now).

Spent so much time dicking around online that now I can talk about it on my sleep.
(My college experience was less about that piece of paper that says Religious Studies and more about that sweet sweet T1 connection.)

Today I watched "Infinity Pool" (2023), recorded off of Film4.
A review of Infinity Pool (2023)
Well, hell, there's me never leaving the compound the next package holiday I take, no matter how attractive Mia Goth is. While we were watching this, my husband said "This is very Ballardian", and, ye...

Why you need a @piccalil.li hoodie:
* They go up to 5XL, which isn't as big as you think, but still spacious enough.
* So fuzzy. So fuzzy inside. So warm and fuzzy.
* Pockets on either side instead of one big pocket.
* You can get "HTML Programmer" and annoy assholes.
* So cozy. So comfy. So nice.
Hoodies
Keep warm and look cool at the same time

I like self-service checkout machines, because it means the staff can sit and gossip to themselves while getting paid, and not judge me for buying "Bluey" stickers.
(I put @sachajudd.com's sticker with my stack of Bluey stickers because this is all about my love. Of shiny metallic sad Bingo.)

Enjoying Royal Sussex Hospital's Urgent Treatment Centre. There is the BIGGEST seagull outside looking very threatening to anyone who comes nearby. I can only assume he's representing the resident doctors.

Welp, I'm a casualty of #ffconf. That fall I took on the stairs on my way to the afterparty has wrecked my knee. Time for knee supports, pain killers, and a lot of swearing.
(And I specifically brought one of my coelacanth shirts to wear to the aquarium 😭)

Ahead of @ffconf.org – I decided to get back into random blogging. Right now it's all at katemonkey.bearblog.dev (I need to figure out what's going on with the SSL for katemonkey.com at some point).
But, hey, wanna know why I keep on using this green? Now you can.

Tonight I watched "The Wedsworth-Townsend Act" (1972), the TV movie that kicked off "Emergency!".
A review of Emergency! (1972)
I used to watch this show obsessively every weekday between the ages of 10 and 12, while I was being home schooled. Then if I ever found it on TV, I'd watch it again. I started watching 9-1-1, but it'...

A review of The Running Man (2025)
I'm not sure what to think about this. I mean, as an action film, it's a lot of fun – Edgar Wright knows how to make a movie, and he does well with a great cast (I don't think I've really seen Glen Po...

A review of Predator: Badlands (2025)
It's obvious Dan Trachtenberg has one true love in his life, and it's making fun smart-ass Predator films. Just give him a good budget, free rein with the canon, and set him loose. Throw in the larger...

A review of One Dark Night (1982)
I have to say, it's pretty impressive when your Big Bad for most of the film is just a flashing pink light behind a cracked marble tile. This is the kind of movie you want to show at, like, a 10-year-...
