This is a simply a Poll Tax, just as much as the ones used throughout our history to disenfranchise people. Not “helping” or “protecting”America in any way.
If the name on your birth certificate doesn't match the ID you currently use (passport, Driver's License, etc.) you will need to produce documented reasons why-marriage/divorce docs, legal name change, etc.). This could disenfranchise millions of married women, divorcées, adopted children, actors...
The so-called Save America Act will force 21 million American citizens to produce passports or birth certificates just to register to vote. Most do not have them ready. Turning paperwork into a barrier is a poll tax by another name. #HandsOffHerVote social.demcast.com/s/L9X3k1fQ
