When people enter Brother André’s Café, Kevin Loiselle usually greets them with a “hello!” and always with a big smile.

His joy — and the joy of the other employees — is part of what draws customers to the Pittsburgh coffee shop.

Does anyone else struggle with letting go of plans & being at peace with not doing things while sick?

I suppose I should see it as an opportunity to practice patience with myself. And to be grateful for when I feel better. 😉🙏

A wealth of questionable information about Pope Leo XIV & his pro-life position is in the news cycle.

But some things we know:
1. He belonged to Villanovans for Life
2. He attended the March for Life in D.C.
3. He has spoken about the sanctity of human life www.oursundayvisitor.com/a-voice-for-...

So interesting — my last post got labeled for “non-sexual nudity” by @bsky.app because it shows Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel fresco of “The Last Judgment.”

New to this so… Anyone know if something like this is a mistake?

When the cardinals of the Catholic Church vote for the next pope, they will do so in front of a masterpiece: Michelangelo’s fresco of “The Last Judgment.”

There’s significance behind this, according to Rome-based art historian Elizabeth Lev.

I remember seeing Pope Francis twice: His visit to D.C. in 2015 & World Youth Day in Kraków in 2016.

Two things struck me:
1) He saw, listened to, and believed in young people.
2) He always asked people to pray for him. (It's something I try to do now too!)
