I got upset last night and had a little rant about how much distaste I have for AI, so this is a good time as any to share it and make a pinned post.
I'm Kay, I'm 30, autistic, preHRT trans, fat, occasionally stream on twitch, and I just try and be a good person. Always support the people you love.

like many people I made a BlueSky in preparation to jump ship from twitter. I wish I didn't because not every person I follow will make the move over, but also it's so sad to see so many people's followings get stunted. I've had a growing number of people I followed using Generative AI and unfortunately I need to soapbox for a bit.
I currently have zero tolerance for AI and I can't support anyone willing to use it for any reason. I can't control how anyone personally feels about viewing it but I need to draw a line. I can't accept it, not for images, not for writing, not for music, not for voices, not for chat bots, not for anything.
I'm normally not interested in telling people how to live their lives, but no matter how much people say "it's only for memes" or "it's not art its fine" is said I completely disagree. All human activity is a form of communication, and using Gen AI only says you don't care about communicating anything. chatgpt stream bots and stolen voice TTS are bad and you should feel bad.
Give your support to the creators and people you care about. If you can't support creation, you're not my friend."
