A free and democratic society cannot silence comedians because the President doesn’t like what they say.

This is an attack on free speech and cannot be allowed to stand.

All elected officials need to speak up and push back on this undemocratic act.

Have put a lot of books in the mail in the last week, but also zines. First batch of Hellarkey is out and over 100 copies of King Ludd’s Rag, featuring stories by Tori Rego and @jedwardgregal.bsky.social, have gone out, many just as a bonus with another book that sold. Buy a book, get a zine too!

Issue:

An excerpt of the short story "A True Account of a Pre-teen Blob" by Marie Vibbert, published in Haven Spec Magazine, Issue 19, March 2025. The text reads:

I wished my whole body would bruise. I could roll like a meatball off the car seat, out the door and down the highway. I could be a wonderful monster.

"We’re never going back," Mom added, joyful and sadistic.

Milly gripped her book tighter against her flat chest. We never knew when the horrible things Mom said would be true.

The background is the issue's cover art, titled Daydreamer, by Abi Stevens Art.
