My lovely girlfriend (@sialunestra.bsky.social) commissioned this art piece in celebration of how we met. It feels very storybook to say we met as strangers at something called the Wonderlight Ball and that we clicked immediately and now here we are... but it's true! And I love it so much. 😭

One thing I'd like to work on next year is collecting more physical media outside just books. I'm just kinda over streaming and how it's been enshittified. I'm gonna go back to putting discs in a player or firing up a game off a cartridge.

i guess i still have lotr trilogy on the brain but costume armor in films keeps looking more plastic and latex-foamy. its The Odyssey which is fantasy so i don’t care about historical accuracy for design, but armor doesn’t really look convincingly stiff and solid and protective on screen anymore
