conflict resolution and repair every time. I don't want to go home and think we didn't do enough for any of them. For many of them, school is their safe space, and we need to gain their trust because, in their experience, adults cannot be trusted. It's tough, not gonna lie. But it's so rewarding.

And it is our duty and our moral and ethical obligation not only to be vigilant about it and react, but to nurture the victims. Let them know we are there for them, even when we cannot make it in time. Even when the harm is already done. They need to know we stand with them. And we will aim for 👉🏽

I work in a SEMH school and fortunately education moved from those kind of teachers (it doesn't mean they are not still among us). Bullying is of course a safeguarding issue that is carefully looked and we try to prevent it from happen at all, but we can't sometimes. Kids can be cruel sometimes 👉🏽
