Why would I care if the government is shut down? Republicans have destroyed every aspect that actually helps people. Seems like right now is a good excuse for to build new systems that aren't reliant on rich white men's inability to empathize with anyone other than themselves.

I went to what I thought was a historical sight in Manitou, CO this weekend, and it turned out to be a terrible piece of cultural appropriation. Good to know that my radar is working correctly, as the vibe was wildly uncomfortable the whole time.

When you abandon the gender binary, you abandon all of the bullshit frameworks that hold up the current societal system that causes so many of the contemporary world's problems. Anti trans movements are the death knell of misogyny and inequality, heard in the distance as a better world is born.
