Good news: carbon intensity has declined

Bad news: carbon emissions increased, due to the rapid rise in world GDP

Also bad news: the chance of staying below 2°C remained low, at 17%

Better news: chance of going above 3°C has gone down substantially, from 26% to 9%

I want a really narrow keyboard stand and couldn’t find one, so I’ve been working on a design I can build all myself. To test it, I 3D printed a 20% scale model and it might be my favorite ever haha. AA battery for scale.

So many little robotics projects are plagued by terrible servos. Thinking of starting a little side project where I validate what servos are good haha. Could be called servo servo sommelier lol

This thing seems to always get stuck on the bottom and then there is no way to recover it haha. You just have to pull on the tether and do a harrowing catch lol.

Today I kicked off the judging process for the Ribbit Network solar Powered, cellular connected Frog as part of the Hackster Challenge we've been running and wow! The three finalists did some incredible work. It's difficult, but it is possible to do great open-source hardware work as a community.
