forever and always the coolest to find out that people love your book
I finished Better to Beg by @keersteemack.bsky.social today and what a fucking delightful read. As someone who was in a band in LA in 2003 playing shitty bars and scrambling for a record deal, it hit me right in my guts. Way to nail that very specific time and experience. Absolutely loved it.

today I put on a record and finished a manuscript. that makes two in a year. i dunno what will come of them, but i’m super proud.

One hundred years from now some poli-sci major at Ottawa U or McGill will write a thesis like “New World Order: How Canada’s Quiet Quest for Hegemony Began with the Chadification of a Prime Minister” and its supporting materials will just be reams of horny Carney memes like this

never any less nice and exciting to see people enjoy your book 😊
A horny, loving, drug-fueled, raging variation on "if this tour doesn't kill us then I will" fondly skewering the early-00s indie sleaze scene, each line from @keersteemack.bsky.social tuned to hit the feels. Young love and loud guitars and shitty bars.

Loved this one
“Emergency Landings” by Sam Berman is a fragmented, darkly comic story on chance and disaster that will surely reserve its unique place in the Berman-verse. Read it in The Bulb Region today.

Don’t blame anybody for not being able to do it. We can’t really afford to be doing it either, but we are. It’s not the superior choice, just a choice.

If you don’t mind the ask, we’d love for people to check out the site and consider an online order tonight or this weekend
