Someone of lesser taste than myself might see that Bari Weiss is to host a townhall with Erika Kirk and say something like, Turning Point? More like turning the channel point, but that's not me. I wouldn't say something like that. I might tune out, though. I might do that.

What exactly does he mean by good people?
Speaker Mike Johnson said he opposed a ban on lawmakers trading stock because it might lead to fewer people wanting to become lawmakers. “You don’t want another deterrence for good people running for office,” Johnson said.

Trump, continued: "What the Somalian people have done to Minnesota is not even believable. It’s not even believable. And a lot of it starts with the governor. A lot of it starts with Barack HUSSEIN Obama, because that’s when people started coming in... They want to kiss our country good night."

potentially easier to talk about what the diagnosis "gets you" than to talk about what happens to you behind closed doors that makes seeking out a diagnosis about something other than just testing accommodations (depression, anxiety, meltdowns, what have you) bsky.app/profile/evan...
Something I think people (such as reporters) might underestimate is the likelihood of a kid with a deficit lying to their peers and saying they're gaming the system.

Having deficits carries a lot of stigma and kids may think saying they're just gaming the system will play better with peers.

Everyone: We need to fire our coach and hire The Next Cignetti

Also everyone: Cignetti's JMU replacement has the same track record, including quickly rebuilding JMU after Cignetti left, but let's leave him to UCLA while looking elsewhere. Elsewhere could be anything, maybe even The Next Cignetti

Remember when kids complaining to outside authorities about a bad grade were called snowflakes and if their parents intervened pundits bemoaned rampant helicoptering? Kids lack resilience nowadays! Suck it up!

But call yourself Christian and complain to your helicopter Governor? Now you're a victim

Important lesson here for democrats:

Oligarchs and corporations respond to incentives. So if there’s a threat of punishment for wrongdoing, they’ll just do the right thing. But the accountability has to be real.
Dimon on why JPMorgan Chase is not funding WH Ballroom:
We have an issue, which is anything we do, since we do a lot of contracts with governments here and around the world, we have to be very careful how anything is perceived, and also how the next DOJ is going to deal with it.

A study by Dayforce shows 87% of executives use AI for work, compared to 57% of managers and just 27% of employees.

I think this explains the massive disconnect we see in how CEOs talk about AI versus everyone else. It also raises the question of how useful it truly is for frontline work?
