Firefighters show up when it matters most—rushing toward danger to protect people, homes, and communities. On National Firefighters Memorial Day, we honour their bravery and mourn the firefighters who lost their lives keeping people in BC safe.

This weekend, we celebrate the workers who built this province and continue to make it the place we all know and love. The Labour movement has won the rights we all enjoy today and is still fighting for workers every day.

Happy Labour Day!

⚡️The power is back on in Bamfield and Anacla, thanks to the incredible work of #BCHydro crews who built 63 new poles and 65 spans of electrical wires in 8 days on a 6 km section of the Bamfield Rd burned out by the #MountUnderwoodFire. Heroic efforts - and ahead of schedule! 🙌🏼
