So proud of the Cub Scouts youth (and Luke!) - who stepped up to help a group of stranded hikers in Golden Ears Park this weekend until GSAR could respond. 🙏

Your bravery, quick thinking and resourcefulness made a real difference.

BC is Burning: a real depiction of living with wildfire.

Murray Wilson made this film to raise our understanding. Wildfires are increasing, and we must learn as communities and as a province, the role we each have to play.

This could threaten thousands of long-term renters and encourage bad faith evictions before next year’s FIFA World Cup.

Rents are down 10% partly because of these STR rules, but the BC Conservatives are trying to weaken and support repealing them entirely.

We won't let them.

When you’re sick, do you want to spend time and energy proving it to your employer?

We’re adding new rules to ensure that when you’re sick, when your kid is sick, you can get the rest you need. Without worrying about a doctor’s note.

New rules on sick notes eliminate unnecessary paperwork
Effective immediately, new rules limit when employers can ask for sick notes and will allow more time for health-care providers to spend with patients.

Heading out trick-or-treating for Halloween? Wear bright colours, use glow sticks or reflective tape and arm bands, and carry a flashlight. Drivers—be extra cautious and slow down. There are lots of families and people out enjoying the night.
