nobody online has actual values or beliefs they just see people get mad and join in on the outrage. sometimes this outrage is totally justified, sometimes it has at least somewhat good intentions but is totally detrimental, and sometimes it is just to feel superior to someone else
seeing people being like "ehhh Idkkkkk horses DOES sound kinda icky, I get why it was banned" like barely 2 months after a bunch of people kicked up the wildest possible hostile campagn against _itch_ makes me feel like I'm losing my mind lol
