So can we just go along and tell Trump he won in 2020 which makes him ineligible to be President now and he must leave. That would solve so many problems.

Why is it easier for Trump to sue Federal Government for bogus damage claims than it is for the families of those killed by Federal officers? This MUST be changed especially when it comes to the President who should not be the plaintiff and the judge and jury. That is just WRONG. Protect citizens.

Under what authority is ICE keeping a database of those exercising their constitutional right for freedom of speech? This should be prohibited by Congress in negotiations over DHS funding.

So according to Trump he will build a stadium to hold 100,000 on the lawn of the White House by June of this year to watch his celebratory UFC fight. If you have ever thought Trump doesn’t lie every time he opens his mouth contemplate this. If you think he speaks the truth you are beyond help.

The reporting that Homan is being sent to MN is assuming this is a positive development. Under what circumstances has Trump Administration done anything that improves a situation especially when it first requires them to say they made a mistake.

It is time for Congress to step up and make clear that Trump shall not pursue any military or other action that would challenge Denmark’s territorial sovereignty over Greenland. And while they are at it they need to put an end to this crazy “Board of Peace” concept which they have not authorized.

Congress must make clear in law that any military action directed at Greenland is illegal, that any order directing the military to take such action would be an illegal order and that any member of the military following such illegal order would be held to account including the Commander in Chief.

Absolutely agree that there are plenty of examples. On Senate Approps we used to hold oversight hearings with department IGs and the GAO, listened to their concerns and recommendations and acted on them to reduce fraud, abuse and unnecessary spending. Wonder when the last time that was done.
Iran Contra, joint J6 committee, WateRgate, Truman Commission, Pendleton hearings -- there's hundreds of historical examples where sunshine resulted in corruption being exposed. It's not the only thing to do, but it's the right thing for the Senate. They're a deliberative public body.
