Something I found really useful when working with context on Cursor:

When diving into an existing codebase, use @codebase with o1 and generate a file laying out the detailed hierarchy + specs.

Then dump everything into .cursorrules

I still love cursor a lot for bugfixing, because it handles context a lot better. But Cline works especially well when writing new code with minimal context needed (e.g. linking up a new module with existing functions or tools in the codebase)
Been using the cline vscode extension and its been quite a game changer. Works really well with Gemini 2.0 Flash too!
