I’d like to be more optimistic, but reading this article, it really feels that we’ve reached a tipping point, where unless the whole funding paradigm shifts much more radically, with significantly more cash in the pot for local councils, and soon, that the fallout is going to be really painful.

Early on Oct 1, Israeli military vessels intimidated 2 boats in the Global Sumud Flotilla, disrupted its communication systems, and performed provocative manoeuvres.

No injuries were reported.

The flotilla is 140 nautical miles from Palestine's Gaza.

Great to see Muswell Hill Library open again today after extensive restoration and refurbishment!

It is the final of Haringey’s nine libraries to reopen after £4.9million has been spent improving the libraries and making them accessible for everyone.
