Since I'm going on break for a bit content wise I want to take a small thread to give some advice.
Some of this will be opinionated but I think my channels worked out pretty well and I'm seeing more upcoming creators, so this will be filled with a bunch of advice that comes to mind.

ive really never taken a break from comp but i've been feeling really out of it lately so i think it's time. other games have been fun for me lately as well but hopefully there will be something to motivate me to grind splatoon again soon

votings until I went out of my way to ask EVERYONE that I scrimmed with to play with me again, and it worked very well ! A lot of people are worried about playing bad in front of good players which is very fair, but how do you improve otherwise? Stepping out of your comfort zone

and not knowing anyone. If you are scared to reach out to people (which is very understandable), from my experience and when I was trying to get better, the majority of players are super nice and would not mind doing a couple of scrims/giving advice. When I was first grinding for +3, I did not pass

Seeing all of the talk about improvement, my biggest piece of advice is MAKE CONNECTIONS !! it is super important to get to know people who are better than you, andall of them can help you improve as well. If you are trying to get into +3/+2?/+1, you can't expect to get in just purely off of results
